We go to great efforts to ensure that our historic venues are as accessible as possible for all to enjoy and experience.

Despite the Roman Baths being 2,000 years old, Grade I Listed, a Scheduled Ancient Monument and on a number of different levels, it has been listed by Euan's Guide as one of the top ten wheelchair accessible wedding venues in the UK and has won Gold for "Inclusive Tourism" in the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2018.

Guildhall: Accessibility information

The Guildhall is accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access to the ground floor of the Guildhall either via the door by the High Street entrance to the market between 9am and 5pm, or via the rear of the building within the car park and up the ramp to the main back door.
A lift is available for one wheelchair at a time to access the first floor.
There are accessible toilets on the ground and first floors.
Induction loops are fitted in the Banqueting Room, Council Chamber and Brunswick Room.

Heritage Parks: Accessibility information

Botanic Gardens Accessibility Information:

The Temple of Minerva is partially accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access to the ceremony room via a ramp to the left of the building. The kitchen and storage facilities can be accessed via stairs only.
There is a standard accessible toilet in the Temple of Minerva and another accessible toilet close by in the Royal Victoria Park play area.
There are tarmac pathways around the Botanic Gardens, including between the upper and lower lawn.

Parade Gardens Accessibility Information:

Parade Gardens is accessible to wheelchair users. There is level access via a ramp through the Grand Parade entrance with paved paths throughout.
There is no lift access available to the bandstand.
The on-site café is accessible via ramp.
There is a standard accessible toilet. The closest toilets for those who require features such as a hoist, changing bed and additional space to use the toilets safely and comfortably are:

Southgate Shopping Centre

Sydney Gardens

You can access the Changing Place accessible toilets by calling Healthmatic on 01249 823143 for the entrance code.
