Host your event at the Guildhall

Up to 180 guests can enjoy dinner and dancing in the Banqueting Room and the adjoining Aix-en-Provence Room is ideal as a buffet service point, as well as a bar area. If you’d like to enjoy a band performing under the glittering chandeliers, we can provide a stage, leaving ample space for a dancefloor.

The Brunswick Room is conveniently located on the ground floor, and near the Guildhall entrance. It is most suitable for suitable for drinks receptions, perhaps before dining upstairs in the Banqueting Room, or for afternoon teas.

The Banqueting Room is a lovely large space for concerts. The adjoining Aix en Provence is an ideal spot for an interval bar.

The Guildhall is a versatile location for filming. Outside the main rooms, the marble floors and grand staircases are popular with filmmakers. With its original Georgian plasterwork, minstrel’s gallery and Royal portraits, the Banqueting Room is a perfect for period dramas. It recently featured in the Netflix show Bridgerton.

This historic debating chamber is ideal for period productions. It was recently used in the BBC production The Trial of Christine Keeler.
